There are many micro-things: microcards, microchips, micro USB, etc. But there is no micro kitten among those things.
Well, it is now.
Let us introduce you a micro kitty, named Bijou.
The 48-hour-old kitten arrived at The National Kitten Coalition with her 4 sisters and brothers.
The animals arrived in a very poor condition from a small rural shelter but the foster was able to stabilize and improve their health.
Unfortunately, one of the kittens didn’t survive. The other four, including Bijou, began to thrive. Bijou appeared to be the tiniest one from the litter.
It seemed like she stopped growing when reached four ounces.
There were a lot of thoughts about the best course to take for the kitten. But her foster was willing to fight right along with the little thing.
Nine weeks later Bijou weighted 8.2 ounces but she was one happy kitten!
People ask Bijou’s owner why would she spend so much time and effort on one kitten, as there are so many kittens need help. She believes that every life matters, that is why she won’t give up. She has made a commitment so she must provide the kitten she has with the best conditions.
Bijou is very tiny for her age.
At being 4 months old she broke the one pound mark.
Bijou’s story shows you how important the fostering is.
You can make a difference!
