A Dozen Of Baby Ducks And Their Mother Were Spotted In The Library Of Congress. But What Did They Do There?

Nowadays animals have not so much space for living. People use the territory for building cities. That is why sometimes you can notice animals in the most unexpected places. These ducks were discovered in the Library of Congress. Their story is truly amazing.

Once in the evening people saw ducklings and their mother go past a window of the sixth-floor balcony. It was a big surprise for everybody. Birds were trying to get over the walls of the balcony but failed. People quickly understood that this place is quite dangerous for animals.

Of course, everybody started guessing how ducks appeared in the Library of Congress. Most probably, a duck flew up there and laid eggs nearby. Maybe, she had babies somewhere in the bushes, because the place is beautiful and peaceful.

Capital Police officers together with city animal control unit rescued the ducks. They were relocated to the Capitol Reflecting Pool. They are now in safety. Also, a ramp for ducks was installed. It will help them get in and out of the water. It soon became a popular attraction for tourists.
