Strange things happen all the time, but it’s not always that the animal species of one kind become so bonded with other animals. I bet everything starts from the lack of communication of those animals that live on their own.
Here’s a story of a lamb called Steve. His life with his owners, Amanda and Ben, was pretty great and the cat seemed to enjoy it a lot. They all lived on a remote farm in the village of Ngamatapouri, located on the longest No Exit road in New Zealand. The cat lived a normal life until the couple adopted a flock of orphaned lambs. At that time Steve was only eight-month-old.
Soon Amanda and Ben started noticing that their favorite cat doesn’t spend so much time indoors as he used to. It was often that they had to go outside and look for him.
It appeared that Steve is spending his time with the lambs.
It’s unusual, but he’s become a trusted member of their flock. The cat has so assimilated with them that now he thinks of himself as a lamb. The flock doesn’t mind, and it seems that Steve has become their leader.
