We all know how budget-unfriendly today’s accommodation prices are, so it’s not surprising that Lulu, a single mom living with her young daughter in California, didn’t feel like she was ready to give half of her income for rent payment. When it was time for Lulu to find a place to live, she opted to move into a standard shipping container. Served to transport things from China, this container was turned into rather cozy place thanks to Lulu’s resolution and hard work.
The woman had no building experience, which didn’t stop her from installing windows, insulation and a functioning kitchen with her bare hands. The junkyard was that store where Lulu found practically everything she needed to build the home out of recycled materials. Impossible is nothing when it comes to making really important things.
